I founded Project 1 Finance in 2016 with a clear vision: to create a finance brokerage built on expertise, integrity, and genuinely personalised service. With more than 20 years of experience across the finance industry, I bring deep industry knowledge and strategic insight to every client engagement.
Project 1 Finance is a boutique finance brokerage and a proudly women-run business, led with purpose and accountability. We are not a volume-driven operation—we are relationship-focused, solutions-driven, and committed to delivering finance that truly fits our clients’ needs. From car and leisure finance to complex commercial lending and personal debt consolidation, every solution is carefully structured and professionally managed from start to finish.
I have built Project 1 Finance with a national network of experienced brokers who share my standards of excellence, professionalism, and care. Shermeel Rizvi
Lending Executive
With over 17 years of experience, Shermeel Rizvi is a trusted Finance Broker at Project 1 Finance, specialising in asset finance, consumer and commercial lending, and business funding solutions, including lines of credit. She works closely with individuals and business owners to structure tailored finance solutions aligned to cash flow and growth goals. Known for her client-first approach and strong lender relationships, Shermeel provides clear, end-to-end support from application through to settlement.
Jessica Joyce
Lending Executive
With over seven years’ experience in the Automotive and Caravan Industry, I developed a strong passion for finance and helping customers achieve their goals. Working with Project 1 gives me great pride, knowing I play a role in helping people turn their dreams into reality.
Prior to my time in dealerships, I spent four years in radio and am qualified in commercial television and radio voiceover. This background strengthened my communication skills and my ability to understand and connect with people from all walks of life.
Outside of work, I enjoy a relaxed country lifestyle, spending time with my husband and three children, gardening, and camping.
